Fiber Reinforced Plastics (FRPs) are non-metallic composites that are enforced by means of combining epoxies and glass or carbon fibers.
Being highly resistant to most chemicals and corrosion forms, FRPs are used for a wide range of industrial applications.
On the other hand, due to the complexities associated with their design, fabrication, installation, and maintenance, FRP components are prone to mechanical damages and degradation, frequently causing major shutdowns and production disruptions.
With these insights in mind, AMPP Jubail Chapter decided to lead the regional technical community in addressing the various aspects of FRPs by means of holding a comprehensive forum on the subject.
The forum, to be held in October 2023, in Jubail, will host experts and concerned people dealing with FRPs design, fabrication, installation, and maintenance.
